I'm currently enrolled at Palomar College. In the future, I hope to obtain my MLIS and eventually become a school librarian. In the past, I have worked with preschool and elementary age children and I look forward to working with youth again. Currently, I work as a Library Aide for San Diego public libraries. For fun, I love traveling and being with my family.

I'm 26 and this is my third semester in the Palomar LIT program. I am an avid reader and cat lover. I got married in 2016 and we have two adorable black cats named Shadow and Epona. I have my AA in General studies-Humanities & Fine arts, I'm working towards my certificate in LIT, and am pursuing a career as a Multi-Media Technician. My Contributions are that I created the original blog and layout, I contacted and added all of the others, as well as making everyone admins. I changed the "About Me" section on the homepage to a "Contributors" section and also changed the comment box to "pop up" so it wouldn't be so bulky.

I worked as a solution consultant across many industries for too many years before deciding to ditch the stuffy corporate world to engage in work that was more meaningful. Although I am a Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist, I try not to tell too many people. The LIT program at  Palomar College is definitely fun, and I'm super excited about moving into the world of library work.

I have: one husband, four children, two dogs, five cats, three ducks and three quail. I like nature, music, learning, and people!

I'm very open and happy to help. Questions about the content on this blog or how to do something with tech in your life? Ask me here.

This is my first semester in the Palomar LIT program. I recently graduated from CSUEB with a BA in Liberal Studies and an emphasis in Social Science. I hope to gain my certificate in library technology before applying to MLIS programs. I currently work as a page for the San Jose Public Library system. My career goal is to one day become a public librarian.

I am married, and my husband and I have two boys. One is 14-years-old, and our youngest is three. We also have a Dachshund-Terrier mix, and his name is Hulk. I love to read, cook, watch sports, and travel.

I'm very interested in technology, and I consider myself to be an avid learner. Some people say that a great way to better learn is by teaching others, and I hope to do just that through this blog with the help of my fellow classmates.

This is my first semester working towards my AS in Library Technology at Palomar College. I was an elementary school librarian (LMC) from 2015-2017 before I moved to San Diego. I hope to return to a school library once I complete my degree.

I enjoy reading, finding new things to read, learning about other libraries, and classic cinema.I am a volunteer at the San Diego Central Library in the Children's Section.
